How to Apply Lace Glue Like a Pro

For the best results, we recommend: Stay Stuck Lace Glue, On Guard Skin Shield, Stay Laid Melting Spray, a rat-tail comb, and a clean cloth. Having all your products ready before you start makes the process smoother.
Step 1: Prep Your Skin
Clean your hairline thoroughly with alcohol or a gentle cleanser. Remove any oils, moisturisers, or product buildup. Then apply On Guard Skin Shield to create a protective barrier.
This step is crucial — it prevents irritation AND helps the glue bond stronger and last longer.

Wait 60 seconds after applying On Guard before moving to the glue. Let it fully set.
Step 2: Apply the Glue
Using Stay Stuck Lace Glue, apply a thin, even layer along your hairline. The key word is thin — a thick application won't hold better, it'll just take longer to dry and may cause white residue.
Let the glue get tacky. This usually takes 30–60 seconds depending on the temperature and humidity. The glue should feel slightly sticky to the touch but not wet.
Step 3: Press and Secure the Lace
Carefully place your lace along the glue line and press firmly. Use a rat-tail comb or your fingers to smooth the lace into the adhesive, working from the centre outward.
Take your time here. A careful placement now means a better-looking result later.
Step 4: Melt It Down
