How Do I Remove the Wig and Lace Glue?

Accepted Answer

Spray Loosen Up generously along the hairline where the lace meets your skin. Leave for 2–3 minutes so it breaks the adhesive down. For stronger bonds, apply a second time and wait again. Gently lift the lace. Never pull, peel or force it, and never pull it off dry.

Can I Remove It Sooner than a Few Weeks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. 2–6 weeks is how long the hold can last with the full system, not how long you have to wear it. Take it down whenever you’re ready using the Loosen Up removal steps. The directions let you build 3–6 thin layers depending on how long you want to wear it.

How Do I Clean Glue from My Skin vs the Lace?

Skin: after removal, cleanse your skin and hairline before your next install. Lace: we don’t publish separate lace-cleaning steps yet. Call or WhatsApp us before trying anything that could damage your lace.

Is Stay Stuck suitable for sensitive skin?

Accepted Answer

Stay Stuck is a water-based acrylic formula. Its independent safety data sheet classes it as non-hazardous to skin, with no known sensitising effects. Everyone's skin is different, so always patch test before your first install: apply a small amount behind your ear or on your inner arm and leave it for 48 hours. Don't use it if you notice redness, itching or swelling. For an extra barrier between glue and skin, apply On Guard Skin Shield first. If irritation happens at any point, remove the glue with Loosen Up and stop using it.

Will It Hold if I Sweat or Live in Humidity?

Strong hold. Seamless finish. Our original formula handles water, sweat and humidity. No lace glue is fully waterproof. Facing excessive sweating, very oily skin or extreme heat, cold or humidity? Heat Wave is formulated for those conditions.

Why Isn’t My Glue Drying Clear, or Why Is My Wig Lifting?

White glue: let each layer dry completely clear before the next. Never apply a new layer onto wet glue. Lifting is most often from skipping prep (oil pushes the glue off), applying glue too thickly or skipping the melt spray. Cleanse with 70% isopropyl alcohol first, use thin layers and melt with Stay Laid Melt & Seal Spray (melt band for the full 10 to 15 minutes).
